like JG King, Langdon building, Metricon, Simonds and GJ Gardener homes just to name a few of the project builders
We also work for smaller private residential building companies around Bendigo like McCarthy Homes, Todd Newman Builders, and Murray Wearne builders, Paul Gray just to name a couple
What do we do before we start new build houses?
1. When we start a new build, we work off the plans of the house to order the materials we need for the job and get them delivered to the job site
2. Then we send in our hanging crew what they will do is they will screw the metal battens to the roof if they have not been done then they will put the insulation in and walls then they will glue and screw the plaster panels to the studs and roof battens
3.
Then we send in our finishing plasterers so what they will do is they will tape up the joins in the plaster sheets then they will do what is called a 3-coat trowel on all screw’s holes and joins this is the most common finishes we do in all of domestic building construction
4.
Then the finishing crew will come back 24 to 36 hours after the last coat and start the sanding back process

When drywalling a new home in Bendigo, attention to detail and proper installation techniques are essential for achieving a seamless and high-quality finish. The process begins by ensuring that the framing of the home is structurally sound and properly aligned. Next, measurements are taken to determine the size and quantity of drywall sheets needed for each wall and ceiling. The wallboard sheets are then cut to size, taking into account any openings for windows, doors, or electrical outlets. The plasterboard sheets are then attached to the framing using gyp board screws, ensuring they are securely fastened and flush with the surface. You should take extra care into consideration when staggering the joints between sheets to minimize visible seams. Once all the sheets are installed, the joints are covered with supabord tape, and a combining compound is applied over the tape. Multiple layers of bonding compound are added and sanded back between each layer to create a smooth and even surface. Finally, the wallboard is ready for priming and painting, leaving the new home in Bendigo with a flawless and professionally finished interior.
